I always wanted to be an archaeologist, and it’s easy to have adventures everyday, when pretending!

Ooo! What a lovely surprise!! (the illustration AND the archeological discovery)

If I were a museum of all things kitty-related, I would be the highest bidder!

Br-r-r-r-r… I shudder when I think of the entire civilizations I have tossed out of the 2 digs in our wash room. You have touched something inside of this cat-enabler. Thanks for visiting my blog! How’s Austin today?

Hah, John, yes it’s difficult to think of all the artifacts wasted daily across the world! Austin is wonderful, and slightly chilly.

I don’t know but the illustration has no reference whatsoever to the topic and that continues to bother me…

Jasjyot, I think you should start looking at deeper meanings to the IF topics, instead of only thinking of the dictionary definition and the most stereotypical visual solutions. “Pale” doesn’t only mean someone going pale from fright. Open your mind a little and don’t be afraid to think about it. That’s what professional illustrators do.

I think the term for what you are excavating is coprolites.

That is pretty hilarious…do you remember when you were a kid and would pick up something you dropped in the dirt and try to eat it anyway…and it was all crunchy…seeing this gives me that visceral reaction…I bet if you bit into that it would be all gritty and nasty…blah…
