confined in my own home
« new year new art goals thyme lord »

We’re having major renovations done to our house and while this is all very exciting, we’ve also had to live in our master bedroom for weeks while it’s been going on. All of our downstairs furniture is in the garage, and all of our dishes and belongings are stuffed in our guest room, bedroom, closets, and any other nook and cranny we could find. I can’t wait till it’s all over, and I’ll try not to go crazy meanwhile.

Hey Tina! Happy New Year! You are right, there is nothing worse than being confined in your own home. I’m getting cabin fever because it seems like I’m confined because of all the snow and cold, But alas… your renovations will get done, and spring WILL arrive :o). Love the pose and the pouty look. Very terrific illustration!

That doesn’t sound like fun. You’ve definitely captured the mood for the situation.

I know how challenging renovating can feel but in the end it’s all worthwhile! Great illustration , really captures the feeling of confinement.
