garden funeral
« Leonard Cohen at the Long Center new portrait rosie »
My little garden is coming along slowly but surely. I never imagined I would crave digging in the dirt, touching new leaves, and getting so excited about new growth. It has become an incredibly rewarding hobby. But a garden also contains full cycles of life and death. A dying plant, a bird skull, and today, a little dead snake. I’m not sure how he died, I found him in an unused drip tray that had a little rainwater in it. I hope I am providing a safe environment for the rest of his family and all of his other animal friends.

time does pass to quickly for life sometimes and in an instant it can be fleeting thanks for the reminder. Nice piece.
