stone plant markers
« the poe reception oxblood lily victory »

I’d been looking for garden plant markers on and off for a while but never found any that I truly loved. Occasionally, I would keep the little plastic tags that came with the plants I bought, but they weren’t pretty so most of the time I would end up tossing them, and then kicking myself for not remembering what exactly I had bought or where I had planted it.
Last weekend, I got to work and made my own painted stone garden markers! I love how they turned out, and they were so fun to make that I’m planning on making more for my etsy shop.

These are so beautiful in our garden! They are really useful to me, since I don’t know all of the plants, but also blend nicely since they match the natural textures.
Wonderful work, babe!

That is a fabulous idea. I am hopeless at marking things and if I do the markers either get broken, lost or faded. I have loads of stones but just wish I had a neat hand like you do. MAy have a try.

Jenny, give it a try! You can draw out the letters with pencil first then paint over the sketch. Makes it easier.
